4Cs at the Rising Sun
On Thursday 29th June, the first Coffee Morning ( or coffee, cake, chat and company Morning ! ) was held at the pub. The snug tables were groaning with a mix of delicious looking sweet treats of all shapes and sizes and by 11am the pub was starting to fill up.
Some acquaintances were rekindled from when the Rising Sun was open previously, as well as new friendships forged and by mid morning all the tables were full and the atmosphere buzzing.
Voting for a monthly meeting was unanimous so the next Coffee Morning will be in July. Look out for posters and online.
